CrossFit kids 7-12
Note that each class is further broken down into 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 year olds.
At this age we learn the basic gymnastic movements, squatting, push ups, pull ups, core strength work & climbing. We also introduce the foundations of olympic lifting technique, plyometric training, speed and agility drills, rowing and stretching.
Along with these movements, we work on listening and communication skills, social skills and confidence building in a positive reinforcement environment. Our focus in classes is to work on a physical element while teaching spatial awareness, good movement patterns and an appreciation for living a healthy lifestyle.
